The Author and Her Ideas
My name is Emerald, and I have been a writer for around seven years now. I have attended college and gotten a B.A. in English with an emphasis on creative writing. A degree doesn’t make you a writer. That I can assure you of, but the writing classes I took did help. It’s all about the experience. Just like with everything else, practice makes perfect. You just have to write.
I am doing this so I can share my ideas, stories, poems, etc with everyone. Writing is a true passion of mine. I like to live different lives by inventing different characters. I have always loved to read and live life through those characters. I thought it would be fun and interesting to write, so others could live vicariously through my characters.
I, also, want to share my ideas on writing and the lessons I’ve learned along my journey as a writer that still continues on to this day and hopefully in the very distant future.
Feel free to link my blog and posts to yours and to contact me.
P.S. Most of the pictures I use in my blog are taken and edited by my younger sister, Hannah. I want to give a shout out to her and thank her for working with me on my endeavors.
