It’s the Year of the Indies!

That’s right ladies and gentlemen.  Indies have dominated the scene since Amazon, Barnes and Noble and other sites have come out of hiding to let us Indie authors publish our own books.  Well, now, the WLC is promoting 100+ Indie authors in our one week event starting today, Christmas Eve.

As you all know, I volunteer at the WLC as the Event Communications Coordinator alongside a good friend and author, Amy Mannemann.  There are other great authors who volunteer at the site, and if you haven’t signed up for some of the promotions and you are a self-pubbed author, you should check it out.  You will get great exposure at a great price.

Okay, sorry about the plug. 😉  Today starts the Year of the Indie Event featuring a lot of great Indie authors’ books!  Stop by and have a look.  Fill up that new Kindle or Kindle Fire you’re getting for Christmas!

THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!  The WoMen’s Literary Cafe is making great strides in supporting authors.  That’s what we do.  We give back to the community.  Please.  Stop by and check it out.  Chances are you’ll find a book or two you will want to read!  🙂

  1. Interesting. I’d never really checked out the WLC site before. I registered and signed up for the newsletter. (I’m still not quite sure why it’s “WoMen’s” when it’s for everybody, but maybe that will become clear.) Also, it seems to be mostly for e-books, not hard copy, but I’m sure I’ll have an e-book at some point.

Have a great holiday (or two), Emerald.

    1. I’m glad you registered! There are some paperbacks in our Indie Event, I believe, but if you head over to the forums, it’s for everyone to chat about writing in their genre (or two), publishing, etc. We have something for everyone. 🙂

I think WoMen’s is a play on words. Women and Men. 🙂

I hope you have a wonderful holiday (or two) as well! I hope to see you in the forums at the WLC. You know, as well as on here! 😀
