Welcome to the Irish Gold Blog Hop! St. Patty’s Day is one of my favorites holidays, and I’m thrilled to be discussing what my character wants at the end of his rainbow. This will be about my character from Piercing Through the Darkness, Jonathan Chandler.

Smile upon you St. Patrick’s Day
Johnathan Chandler loses his family in a terrible accident. He doesn’t know what he’s done to deserve such a cruel life. His beautiful wife and lovely daughter are dead, and he’s left alone – alone with the thoughts that torment him.
And to make matters worse, she shows up in his classroom one day where she pretends like she’s never done anything to him. She acts like she didn’t just kill his family. Why would she do this?
Those thoughts torment him day and night. He can’t sleep, and all he can think of is revenge. Revenge against the girl who killed his family.
And all he wants is peace. Even if that peace means taking her life away.
That’s what he wants at the end of his rainbow. Kandi gone and his family back.

It’s on the edge of her memory like a word on the tip of her tongue, but Kandi can’t remember what it is to save her life.
Despite being a cop, Jimmy can’t protect Kandi from the one thing that haunts her. She’s in danger and doesn’t even know it. After it happened, her brain repressed her memories of the accident, and now, she’s taking a Biology class under a man who wants to see her dead. The memories have started coming back, and it feels like she’s miles away from him. How can he protect her when she doesn’t even know she needs protecting?
Can these characters pierce their way through the darkness?

My favorite St. Patrick’s day tradition is making Irish Car Bombs! Oh and corned beef and cabbage of course 😉 we also usually watch the movie The Boondock Saints! Good luck with the tour, this is one of my fave holidays too!

OOOh, this books sounds so awesome! Now as to the traditions of St. Patty’s Day of course I completely deck my entire family out in green whether they like it or not. I also get together with my family for a nice dinner and then we all go out and celebrate by drinking some green beer. Its one of the few occasions I love drinking beer. there is just something about it being green that makes it so fun! We celebrate St.Patrick’s Day by wearing green ( combo of clothes+accessories),have a big feast that includes traditional irish food such as potatoes,listen to irish music,organise treasure hunt, and at night watch the movie “The Quiet Man” (John Wayne and Maureen O’Hara)

Our family does abide by the wear green or get a pinch thing – to the extreme – and in the hopes that someone will forget, and invariably they do! 🙂

That just sounds like a terrible situation in the story–losing one’s family in a car accident. That sounds heavier than the stuff I usually read.
I don’t do anything special for St. Patty’s Day except make rueben sandwiches. When I was in High School, I always marched with my school in the city’s parade. That was fun.
