Let’s Fall Into Books! A #CLReads Blog Hop!

crfallbadge1

Books! We all love them. Well, not everyone, but there’s a good chance that if you’re following this hop or blog, you do. 🙂 It just so happens that I’ve read tons of books, and I have a HUGE collection of them. I like sniffing them, flipping through the pages, and living in them.

book-pain-syndromeReading may not always come easy for me because I’m so busy, but I still try and read a chapter a day. (It doesn’t always happen, but I try.) And although I don’t have much time to re-read books, there are a few that I’ve found myself re-reading. The Host, The Hunger Games and The Hobbit. I don’t think I could live without those three books. (Which oddly enough all start with ‘The’ and ‘H’)

Giveaway Time!!

(NOW CLOSED!!)

Which book do you constantly keep “falling” back into? If you tell me in the comments, you might just win an e-book copy of my newest release, Entertaining Angels, (international) but that’s not all! You can get this awesome necklace featuring the book itself! (US only)

About Entertaining Angels:

Madison Andrews can’t face her reflection in the mirror. All she sees is a big, fat nobody. Yet, deep inside she longs for something more, something that’s not skin deep.

Along comes Zach, the new guy in school. He’s smoking hot and totally out of her league. She somehow catches his eye, and he makes her feel beautiful for once. But just as she gets close to Zach, her nerdy best friend, Chase, won’t let Madison doubt her true beauty, no matter how many meals she skips.

Even as Madison begins to realize that she is more than what she thinks, darker forces are at work, darker than the lies and mocking from her peers, stopping her from amounting to her full potential. Can Madison find true happiness in her own skin?

  2. Emerald, I bought Entertaining Angels last night on Kindle and am a good chunk into it. I love it so far!

Anyway, in response to your question, I find myself constantly going back to The Seer series by Linda Joy Singleton. I’ve read the first one over a dozen times (twice in the last year!) I even got to meet Linda this summer, and I own all her books (a dozen of them are signed!)

I have a lot of keepers, but the book I never get tired of reading again and again is Acheron by Sherrilyn Kenyon.

    I can’t pick just one…who can? 😛
    Books I reread frequently:
    Lord of the Rings
    Follower of the Word
The Books of Pellinor (read the series, like, five times!)
    Tales of Goldstone Wood
The Republic Commando series by Karen Traviss
    And others 🙂

Thanks for the giveaway! The book sounds great and the necklace looks awesome! 🙂

  6. Wow, that necklace is beautiful! Also, the book sounds excellent. I’m looking forward to reading it and am definitely adding it to my TBR list.

As for which book I keep falling back into, normally I try to read something new (to get the must read pile down because you author folk keep writing things that I just have to keep reading, which I love so keep it up please!!) but when I get all nostalgic I sometimes will pick up Tom Sawyer because it’s one of the first books I ever read that hooked me on reading. I’m not sure why that is, but it did. One of the others was the Hobbit! Also, I admit to once in a great while grabbing an old Sweet Valley High book and just reading it all over again for the heck of it. I loved those back in the day! I haven’t read the rewrites because I don’t want them to change!

Thanks for the giveaway chance and I hope everyone who happens upon this post has a very pleasant day 😀

I love to read and I have not let a single day go by this year that I haven’t read at least a chapter or two. I have read and reviewed over 270 books already this year. With having said that, I don’t really have time to re-read most books. I have gone back and re-read Sable Hunter’s Hell Yeah series.
