Summer is one of my favorite times of the year. I’m not a huge fan of the heat, but I do love the fact that with summer comes a lot of things that you can’t do during the winter time. I’m not sure what my favorite thing to do is, but it’s probably going swimming. I love going to beach with my family, and I enjoy taking my nieces and nephews to get ice cream or sno-cones. We end up going fishing more during the summer, and we take family picnics. I love cutting into a ripe watermelon, and frying up fresh squash from the garden. There’s nothing like summer time! Dreaming Awake 
My favorite thing about summer is the sun! It feels like winter lasts for 6 months around here, so there’s not much time to enjoy the sun. Unfortunately, Wisconsin is really humid, so it’s not always pleasant outside.

I know what you mean. We get a lot of sunshine in MS, but I still like the summer sun better, even thought it gets super hot and muggy.

My favorite thing about summer is spending lots of time playing outside with my daughters. After a long, cold winter, the summer sun and warmth feels wonderful.
